Great to meet you!

I’m Chan-Tal Wilborn, a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 10 years of clinical experience across school-based, psychiatric, and outpatient settings. Many of my clients come to me feeling like they have been in survival mode for too long—carrying anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, life transitions, or family and relationship challenges that feel difficult to navigate alone.

My passion for counseling is rooted in both professional experience and my own understanding of what it means to work through life’s challenges, challenge unhealthy beliefs about self, and choose growth instead of remaining defined by the past. Those experiences have deepened my compassion and strengthened my belief that healing is possible.

In therapy, we will explore how your thoughts, emotions, experiences, relationships, and current challenges impact your overall well-being. Together, we will identify patterns that no longer serve you, develop practical coping tools, strengthen resilience, and work toward meaningful goals that align with the life you want to create.

My goal is to help you move beyond simply getting through the day and toward real healing, clarity, and a life that feels like yours again.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and honest. I want clients to feel safe, heard, supported, encouraged, and challenged when needed. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, or simply feeling stuck, my hope is to walk alongside you as you move toward healing, clarity, and lasting wellness.

For clients who desire it, I also offer faith-integrated counseling while respecting each person’s beliefs, values, and goals.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is about getting to know each other. There's no pressure to share more than you're ready to. I'll spend time understanding what brought you here, what's been weighing on you, and what you're hoping therapy can help you change. We'll go through the practical pieces too: consent, confidentiality, and how the therapeutic process works, so you know exactly what to expect. You'll get to ask me questions as well, about how I work and whether we feel like the right fit. My goal is for you to leave that first session feeling welcomed, heard, and clear on the next step.
