Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a graduate of the University of Denver’s Graduate School of Social Work. I work with people navigating trauma, PTSD, grief, anxiety, depression, and the emotional impact of serious illness and medical trauma, and I have specialized training in EMDR and Ketamine-Assisted Therapy (KAP). As an Army veteran and mother of a childhood cancer survivor, I bring both professional experience and personal understanding of resilience, uncertainty, and life’s unexpected challenges. Most importantly, I strive to create a space where you feel respected, understood, and able to be fully yourself.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and individualized because I don’t believe there is one right way to heal. I draw from trauma-informed approaches, including EMDR, while staying curious about the whole person—not just the challenges that brought you to therapy. When appropriate, I enjoy incorporating creativity, movement, and connection with nature into our work. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, build self-trust and resilience, and feel more connected to your life.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know one another, complete the necessary paperwork, and talk about what brings you to therapy and what you hope to gain from it. Just as importantly, we’ll see how it feels to work together—whether you feel heard, understood, and safe enough to be yourself. Finding the right therapeutic fit matters, and you should feel comfortable deciding whether I’m the right person to walk alongside you. If we’re a good fit, we’ll begin identifying meaningful goals and move forward at a pace that feels supportive for you.
