Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who works with adults navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, self-esteem, boundaries, burnout, and the pressure that can come with trying to hold everything together. I especially enjoy working with professionals and high-achieving individuals who may appear to be doing well on the outside but recognize that something in their relationships, patterns, or personal lives needs to change.

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and direct. I create a space where you can be honest without feeling judged, while also helping you look deeper at the patterns that may be keeping you stuck. I don’t believe therapy should only be about getting through the week. Together, we’ll work toward understanding yourself more fully, strengthening your confidence, developing healthier relationships and boundaries, and making meaningful changes that extend beyond simply coping.

My clinical background includes more than a decade of experience in the human services and mental health field, with experience providing psychotherapy, crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, and program leadership. I integrate approaches including CBT, DBT, ACT, motivational interviewing, and other evidence-based interventions based on each client’s individual needs.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, conversational, supportive, and direct. I want therapy to feel like a space where you can show up as your full self, speak openly, and explore the things you may not feel comfortable discussing anywhere else—without fear of judgment.

I’m not a therapist who simply listens and sends you on your way. I’ll ask questions that make you think, help you recognize patterns, challenge you when needed, and support you in turning insight into meaningful change. We may explore how past experiences influence your current relationships, choices, boundaries, confidence, and the way you see yourself.

I work particularly well with clients navigating relationship and dating challenges, anxiety, life transitions, self-worth, family dynamics, boundaries, intimacy and sexual confidence, and the pressures that can come with being high-achieving. My goal is not only to help you cope with what’s happening, but to help you understand yourself more deeply, become more confident in your decisions, and create changes that feel authentic and sustainable.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about what’s currently happening in your life, what you would like to change, and any experiences or patterns that may be contributing to where you are today.

You don’t need to have everything figured out or know exactly what your therapy goals are before we meet. I’ll ask questions, help you identify what feels most important, and work with you to develop goals that are realistic and meaningful to you.

My goal is to create a comfortable, judgment-free environment where you can be honest, ask questions, and determine whether I feel like the right therapist for you. By the end of our first few sessions, we’ll have a clearer understanding of what you want from therapy and a direction for how we’ll work toward it together.
