Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Chandni! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a passion for supporting children, teens, young adults, and families through life’s challenges. I hold a Master’s in Education with a specialization in Mental Health Counseling, as well as a Master of Arts in School Counseling, both from Teachers College, Columbia University.

With years of experience as a School Counselor, I specialize in helping young people and families navigate the stressors that often come with school—whether it’s academic pressure, peer relationships, or struggles with self-esteem and identity. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s unique needs. I’m here to create a safe and supportive space where growth and healing can happen.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is strengths-based and culturally sensitive. I believe in meeting each client exactly where they are and honoring their unique experiences and perspectives. I draw from a range of therapeutic tools—including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and client-centered techniques—to support meaningful growth and positive change.

I specialize in working with children, teens, young adults, and families - helping them navigate the challenges of growing up, managing emotions, and building self-worth. I also have extensive experience as a school counselor and am knowledgeable about 504 and IEP plans, which allows me to support clients and families in advocating for their needs within the school system.

That said, I’m open to working with anyone who is ready to take the first step toward growth and change. My goal is always to create a safe space where clients feel empowered, and equipped to move forward with confidence.

What you can expect from me

Our work together begins with an initial session focused on getting to know you—your experiences, what’s bringing you to therapy, and what you’d like to work toward. It’s a chance for you to share at your own pace, and for us to start building a foundation of trust and understanding.

My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and truly heard. From there, we’ll collaborate in ongoing sessions to explore your goals and take meaningful steps toward the changes you’re hoping for. Therapy is a journey, and I’m here to walk alongside you every step of the way.
