Chandra Sikes

I started my professional mental health care journey by earning my BS in psychology in 2012. I then worked in crisis intervention, serving suicidal, homicidal, and clients experiencing psychosis. I worked in ERs majority of the time during this chapter and started to love medication management. I decided to pursue my path towards becoming a psychiatric nurse practitioner. I have dedicated over 18 years of my life to mental health care and understanding how I can help as many people as possible.

I offer a holistic and integrative approach to mental health care that emphasizes healing in the present with hope for the future. While past experiences shape who we are, I believe they shouldn't hold us back. Using solution-focused brief therapy, I focus on finding practical, effective ways to help you thrive today. My goal is to partner with you in looking at the whole picture to create a pathway forward that feels empowering and sustainable. Together, let’s find the best path for you.

I aim for my clients to leave sessions with me feeling empowered. The goal is for you to leave our sessions feeling confident to start the first chapter of healing. I am not the provider to sit back and simply write a prescription, or let you dwell on negative things that will not benefit you tomorrow. I will look at all areas of your life and work closely with you to find solutions.
