Great to meet you!

Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker passionate about creating a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel genuinely heard and understood. I have over 6 years of experience working in mental health and substance use treatment, supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, life transitions, mood and personality disorders, and substance use concerns.

I believe therapy is not about fixing who you are—it's about helping you better understand yourself, heal from difficult experiences, and develop the tools needed to create meaningful and lasting change. My goal is to help clients feel empowered, build resilience, and create a healthier relationship with themselves and others.

As someone from a Middle Eastern background who grew up in a household where mental health was not openly discussed, I understand the stigma that can sometimes surround seeking help. This perspective has deepened my passion for creating a safe space where clients feel comfortable being themselves and prioritizing their mental health.

I value building genuine therapeutic relationships and believe that healing begins when clients feel heard, accepted, and supported. I strive to balance empathy with practical guidance, helping clients navigate challenges while recognizing their strengths and capacity for growth.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when clients feel safe, understood, and actively involved in the process. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and personalized to your unique experiences and goals. Together, we'll explore the challenges you're facing, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools to help you navigate life with greater confidence and resilience.

I draw from evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, mindfulness, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care to help clients create meaningful and lasting change. My goal is not only to help you feel better, but to help you better understand yourself and thrive long after therapy ends.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, and I want you to know there is no pressure to have everything figured out right away. My priority during our first session is creating a comfortable and supportive environment where you feel safe being yourself.

We'll spend time getting to know each other, discussing what brought you to therapy, exploring your current challenges, and identifying the goals you'd like to work toward. Together, we'll create a plan tailored to your needs. My hope is that you leave the first session feeling heard, validated, and hopeful about the journey ahead.
