Great to meet you!

I'm Chaniece, a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 13 years of nursing experience. I specialize in working with adults — particularly women — navigating anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, postpartum mental health, and the emotional weight of major life transitions like new parenthood, relationship changes, and shifting identities.

What I offer that most providers can't: I integrate psychotherapy and medication management in the same relationship, with the same person, across time. You don't have to coordinate between a prescriber and a separate therapist. We can work on both, together, at whatever pace makes sense for you.

Outside of work, I'm a reader, a traveler, and someone who genuinely believes that rest, connection, and joy aren't luxuries — they're part of mental health. I bring that same whole-person perspective to the care I provide.

My approach to therapy

My care is grounded in the idea that mental health isn't separate from the rest of your life — it's woven into your relationships, your body, your sense of purpose, and how you move through the world.

When medication is part of the picture, I explain the reasoning behind every decision and stay engaged in how you're responding — not just checking boxes.

For postpartum and perinatal clients, I understand that this season is uniquely hard in ways that aren't always named. You don't need to minimize what you're feeling to be taken seriously here.

What you can expect from me

My clients often describe our sessions as the one place they can say the full, unedited version of what's going on — and actually be heard.

In our first visit, I'll ask questions and listen far more than I prescribe. By the end, you'll have a clearer picture of what I'm seeing, what we might try, and what working together could look like. My goal isn't just symptom relief — it's that you feel more like yourself in your day-to-day life.
