Great to meet you!

My path to becoming a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner was influenced by my own experience with postpartum depression. Going through that season of life taught me how important it is to feel seen, understood, and supported when facing mental health challenges.

Those experiences have given me a unique perspective that I bring into my practice, combining clinical knowledge with genuine empathy and compassion. I strive to create a welcoming space where you can openly share your concerns and feel empowered to take meaningful steps toward healing, growth, and emotional well-being.

My approach to therapy

I believe meaningful care begins with trust, compassion, and genuine connection. My goal is to create a welcoming and supportive space where you feel comfortable sharing your experiences and working toward the changes that matter most to you. I recognize that each person's journey is unique, and I take a personalized approach that reflects your individual strengths, challenges, and goals.

Through a combination of evidence-based psychotherapy and thoughtful medication management, we will work together to address the symptoms that may be interfering with your well-being and quality of life. I am committed to providing a safe, nonjudgmental environment where healing, growth, and resilience can flourish. It is a privilege to walk alongside you as you pursue greater balance, renewed hope, and lasting emotional wellness.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my priority is to create a welcoming and supportive environment where you feel comfortable sharing your concerns and goals. We will spend time getting to know one another, discussing your current symptoms, personal history, lifestyle, and any previous treatment experiences. This comprehensive evaluation helps me better understand your unique needs and the factors that may be affecting your mental and emotional well-being.

Together, we will explore what you hope to achieve through treatment and develop a personalized plan that may include psychotherapy, medication management, lifestyle recommendations, and other evidence-based approaches. I encourage questions and believe in a collaborative process, ensuring that you feel informed, heard, and actively involved in decisions regarding your care.

Most importantly, you can expect a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you are treated with respect and where healing is approached at a pace that feels right for you.
