Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 7 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults ages 10–40 through some of life's most challenging moments. My work focuses on anxiety, stress, grief, and loss, and I draw on my training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to guide my clinical approach. I also have experience working with military families navigating the unique impacts of deployment and relocation, and I do critical incident work alongside my private practice.

I bring warmth, empathy, and a lighthearted spirit to my work, creating a space where you can express yourself openly and authentically. I encourage direct dialogue and believe healing happens through both deep conversations and moments of laughter. I appreciate creativity in self-expression and enjoy sharing in life's joys — whether that's trying new foods, playing games, or simply embracing the unexpected.

My approach to therapy

My approach is rooted in creating a relaxed and supportive atmosphere where you feel safe, heard, and valued. I take a client-centered stance, working collaboratively alongside you and recognizing that you bring your own strengths, skills, and lived experiences to the healing journey. Together, we identify meaningful goals and work toward real change — integrating mind and body while honoring your self-expertise every step of the way.

I believe therapy is not one-size-fits-all. I use creative techniques and personalized resources to meet each client where they are, adapting my approach to what feels most natural and effective for you.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is about getting to know you. I will take time to gather important information about what brought you to therapy, including the challenges you are facing and any distressing thoughts, feelings, or reactions you may be experiencing. Understanding your story and what has led you to seek support is an important first step in our work together.

We will also spend time identifying what you hope to gain from therapy and the goals that matter most to you. And because I believe the whole person matters, I look forward to learning the fun and lighthearted things about you too; your interests, what makes you laugh, and what brings you joy.
