I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 10 years of experiences in the mental health field. I grauduated from Barry University with a Masters in Counseling specializing in Clinical Mental health. I specialize in Depression, Anxiety and Trauma related disorders in adults and children.
I utlize CBT, MI, SFBT and Trauma Focused during sessions. Myy approach is relaxed, warm and non judgemental. Sessions are tailored to the individual's needs. I have worked in many different settings with many age groups. I have also worked with individuals on the spectrum and with intellectual disabilities. My experience includes working in residential foster homes, group homes, community mental health agencies, out patient settings and private practice.
During sessions you can expect to be in a judgement free and culturally competent zone where you are heard and listened to. Although not everything will have an answer or a solution however, I will help you to navigate through presenting concerns while creating healthy ways to cope, increasing your confidence and bringing out your strengths.
