Great to meet you!

Hi there! I'm Chansi Shope; I am a Licensed Professional Counselor dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges in creative ways. With 12 years of school counseling experience and 5 years of professional counseling experience, I connect well with high school and college aged students, but enjoy and have experience working with all ages.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Connecting is my first goal of care; I am not a fan of stuffy, overly clinical language - especially with teens and young adults. In addition, I believe humor is an important part of healing, as is a safe non-judgmental space. I will follow your lead, but challenge you when beneficial to your growth.

What you can expect from our first session

You can expect our first session to involve goal setting, identifying top concerns, and setting the vibe that fits your personality and needs. We will discuss approaches and treatment options and move forward from there.
