Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with over 10 years of experience working in a variety of settings, including private practice, community mental health, and state government, overseeing state-funded adult crisis services in Georgia. I specialize in providing support to individuals with LGBTQ+ related issues, interpersonal conflict, career difficulties, financial stress, attention deficit disorders and depression and anxiety.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I most often rely upon cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and solutions-focused approaches. CBT helps in recognizing and reframing negative thoughts, which can lead to improved mood and coping strategies. Solution-Focused Therapy, a concise and goal-directed method, aims at developing immediate, practical solutions for current problems. This combination offers a balanced approach to tackling both deep-seated patterns and immediate concerns.

What you can expect from our first session

Together, we'll navigate challenges, with me offering guidance and support. I also pose thought-provoking questions designed to inspire self-reflection and enlightenment. This approach not only fosters personal growth and self-awareness but also equips clients with practical tools and strategies to confidently face life's obstacles, carrying with them a sense of strength and capability.
