Great to meet you!

I am Chante' Stephens, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I specialize in working with children, teens, and adults who have faced difficult life experiences, including abuse, neglect, and court involvement. Over the past several years, I have supported youth and families in building resilience, restoring relationships, and learning healthy coping strategies to move forward.

In addition to trauma-focused work, I also support clients who are navigating anxiety, depression, and stress. These challenges can affect anyone—whether it’s a child struggling in school, a teen feeling overwhelmed, or an adult managing daily pressures. My goal is to help clients better understand their emotions, build coping skills, and regain a sense of balance and well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and strengths-based. I believe every person has the ability to heal when given the right tools and support. I draw from evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Focused CBT, to help clients process their experiences and develop practical strategies for growth.

What you can expect from me

When working with me, clients can expect a balance of compassion, honesty, and practical support. I am direct, but I bring that in a way that feels approachable and down-to-earth—I’ll challenge you when needed, but always with the intention of helping you grow, heal, and build tools you can use outside of session.
