Great to meet you!

My name is Chantell and I am a bilingual Licensed Mental Health Clinician located in South Florida. Fluent in English and Spanish. I provide EMDR trauma-focused individual therapy and facilitate support groups for self-love, grief and loss, and parenting skills in the community. I specialize in past/current trauma and abuse, domestic violence, grief and loss, relationship issues, self-esteem and self-love. The population I serve are adults 18 and older.

A bit about my approach to therapy

The therapeutic approach I utilize is Person (Client) Centered Therapy. The main therapeutic modalities I utilize in therapy are Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR).

What you can expect from our first session

A top priority is to meet the clients where they are in their process, and base treatment goals on what works best for the client as we work together to meet the goals in therapy. Treatment goals will be tailored to meet your unique and specific needs. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. Whether you choose to work towards self-awareness and insight or symptom-relief and improved function, the goal is to collaboratively work together to achieve it!
