Great to meet you!

Helping You Breathe, Feel, Heal, and Thrive.

Hello Courageous One! As a licensed professional counselor, I specialize in helping teens and adults who feel burdened by anxiety, depression, emotional numbness, and the pressure to always be “strong.” With a trauma-informed and emotion-focused approach, I create a safe, compassionate space where you can be seen, heard, and valued. I integrate Christ-centered counseling for those who are seeking faith-based support rooted in biblical principles.

I hold a master's degree in professional counseling from Webster University and am committed to creating a transparent space where faith and wellness intersect. With over a decade of experience in education and mental health, I understand the complexities and stressors that can leave individuals feeling hopeless, unseen, and overwhelmed.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My practice is rooted in Jesus Christ’s love and nurtures the whole person—mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Together, we’ll explore the deeper challenges holding you back, uncover suppressed emotions, and work toward healing and wholeness. Whether you’re battling burnout, unresolved trauma, or the stress of high performance, I am here to walk alongside you.

What you can expect from our first session

Our work together will begin with compassionate listening, identifying stressors, and uncovering the deeper concerns holding you back. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to assist with understanding how our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors interconnect. Healing starts with trust, and I prioritize creating a space where you feel safe and valued. My approach is deeply personal, shaped by my own journey of healing and faith. Together, we will explore, heal, and create a path forward toward a more whole and fulfilling life.

As a client, you can expect a safe space to:

  • Identify, explore, and learn how to communicate emotions.
  • Explore, heal, and create a path toward a more whole, authentic, and fulfilling life.
  • Breathe & Exhale without expectation to perform or be "the strong one".
  • Increase awareness and obtain language to understand your experiences.
  • Feel Again. the emotions you have likely avoided because of fear of losing control, the lack of permission to emote and release, or the lack of language to express what is happening internally.
  • Be real and authentic.
  • Learn to embrace vulnerability and sensitivity.
