Hi!

I am a dual board-certified nurse practitioner who is qualified to practice in both primary care and psychiatry; I am able diagnose, treat, and prescribe medication for adult clients ages for adult clients ages 18-65. I have been practicing for 20+years, however for over the past decade my focus has been on the treatment of anxiety, depression ,trauma, psychotic disorders, substance abuse and chronic mental illness through psychiatric assessment, medication management and brief psychotherapeutic intervention.

My practice philosophy is a holistic approach, mind, body, and soul. I encourage healthy lifestyle behaviors such as nutrition, exercise, sleep hygiene, stress management and mindfulness. I possess strong clinical skills enhanced by a natural ability to build rapport with patients and families. I follow evidence-based guidelines blended with clinical experience, personal observation, and intuition.

From the initial visit I strive to create a welcoming, compassionate and empathetic environment to all patients. A 30-90 minute comprehensive evaluation will be performed to review your mental health history, symptoms, lifestyle, and goals to establish a diagnosis and treatment plan. I know it is common to feel anxious about seeking psychiatric care but don’t let those fears interfere with you getting the help and treatment that you deserve and need. I will collaborate with you to achieve your treatment goals and elevate your mental health journey.
