Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), my goal is to help you heal so that you can be your WHOLE self. I'm a graduate of Fort Valley State University in Fort Valley, GA. I've been counseling for 5 years now and I thoroughly enjoy helping people heal. I love watching sports, engaging in outdoor activities, and spending time with my family when I'm not working.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I often use Person-Centered Therapy in my practice. In your first session, we'll explore what brought you to therapy and then decide the most appropriate ways to help you make progress. With CBT, we'll look at how your thoughts affect your emotions and experience. During treatment, I'll help you learn how to push back against those thoughts to change your feelings for the better.

What you can expect from our first session

I work with clients who may be struggling with depression, stress, or anxiety related to life circumstances, amongst other concerns. During our initial sessions, we will delve deeply into the issues at hand, and collaborate to create a plan for addressing them in a way that helps you get your life back. Most of my clients see a gradual lifting of symptoms within the first month and sustained improvement thereafter.
