Great to meet you!

I am a LICSW with a background in yoga, pranayama and mindfulness meditation. I have an eclectic background of experience including homelessness advocacy with the VA Hospital, environmental advocacy work with Greenpeace, international social work in Malawi, Africa and community-based mental health in MA. I consider my greatest teachers to be my family members and also consider myself a student to the teachings of Tara Brach, Jack Kornfield, Pema Chodron and Thich Nhat Hanh.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I enjoy working with all expressions of the human experience and honor each individual’s unique path to healing. I gravitate towards an approach of self-compassion, radical acceptance and non-judgment, while offering a warm and supportive presence. My practice is infused with nature connection, a little humor, mindfulness and gratitude while informed by a mix of evidence based practices including CBT, DBT, MBCT, focus-oriented therapy, and internal family systems.

What you can expect from our first session

I foster a supportive therapeutic alliance with my clients in order to cultivate self-awareness, agency and intention towards growth and positive change.
