Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a strong commitment to serving the mental health community. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from The Ohio State University in 2010, followed by a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) as a Family Nurse Practitioner from South University in 2015. In 2022, I completed my post-graduate certificate as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) from the University of Cincinnati. I have received specialized training in the assessment and treatment of mood disorders, ADHD, anxiety disorders, and trauma-related conditions.

My approach to therapy

My clinical approach emphasizes a combination of pharmacologic interventions and psychotherapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), talk therapy, motivational interviewing, and psychoeducation. I focus on helping individuals process significant life experiences, life transitions, development of effective coping strategies in managing ADHD across the lifespan, mood instability, and co-occurring psychiatric conditions, with a strong focus on collaborative care and individualized treatment planning.

What you can expect from me

I am particularly passionate about breaking the stigma associated with mental health disorders and providing compassionate, evidence-based care. Clients can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where they feel heard, respected, and empowered. My goal is to work collaboratively with each individual—never to tell them what to do, but to guide them in discovering their own path to wellness. I focus on building a therapeutic relationship rooted in trust, where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences at their own pace. Sessions are centered around identifying personal goals, increasing self-awareness, and developing practical strategies to improve daily functioning and emotional well-being. Whether working through challenges related to mood, attention, anxiety, or trauma, I strive to help clients gain insight, build resilience, and feel more in control of their mental health journey. Together, we focus on creating sustainable changes that support long-term healing and personal growth.
