Great to meet you!

Feeling disconnected from yourself, your relationships, or the life you want to build can be painful - but you do not have to stay there alone. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with 21 years of experience and a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. I bring a strong clinical background in behavioral health and support clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress management, relationship issues, low self-esteem, life transitions, and difficulty feeling confident or connected. My work is centered on helping you create a healthier relationship with yourself through self-love, self-acceptance, and practical growth. I believe therapy should be a supportive space where you feel seen, respected, and encouraged as you move toward more confidence, balance, and happiness!

My approach to therapy

My approach is supportive, collaborative, nonjudgmental, and growth-oriented. I believe therapy works best when clients feel safe enough to be honest, while also feeling supported enough to take meaningful steps toward change. In session, we may explore the thoughts, relationships, patterns, and life experiences that have shaped how you see yourself and move through the world. We may work on coping skills for anxiety, depression, and trauma, stress management, communication, boundaries, self-esteem, relationship issues, and goal-setting. My role is to guide your growth, help you identify what is no longer serving you, and support you in creating healthier relationships, deeper self-acceptance, and a life that feels more aligned with who you are.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, I will explain how the therapeutic process works and what you can expect from our work together. We will talk about what brings you to therapy, what you hope to accomplish, and the areas of your life where you are seeking support, whether that includes anxiety, depression, trauma, stress management, relationship issues, self-esteem, life transitions, or feeling stuck. I will ask questions to better understand your experiences, strengths, goals, and the role you want to take in your healing process. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and clearer about how therapy can help you move toward self-love, self-acceptance, and meaningful change!
