Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I help everyday people better understand the powerful connection between their mental, emotional, and physical well-being. My approach is warm, supportive, and grounded in real-life experiences, helping clients gain insight into the patterns, stressors, and emotions that may be impacting their daily lives. Together, we work toward greater self-awareness, emotional balance, healthier relationships, and practical tools that support lasting growth and healing.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to each client’s unique needs and life experiences. I strive to create a space where clients feel genuinely heard, understood, and safe enough to explore difficult emotions, patterns, and life challenges without judgment. I believe healing begins with a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, empathy, and active listening.

I have extensive experience utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients recognize the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we identify unhelpful thinking patterns, challenge negative beliefs, and develop healthier coping strategies that support emotional wellness and personal growth. I also incorporate Motivational Interviewing techniques to help clients strengthen their confidence, explore ambivalence, and feel empowered to make meaningful changes at their own pace.

My goal is not only to help clients manage symptoms, but also to help them build insight, resilience, self-awareness, and practical tools they can apply in their everyday lives.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect their first session with me to feel welcoming, supportive, and conversational. My goal is to create a comfortable environment where you feel heard, respected, and understood without pressure or judgment. During our first session, we will spend time discussing what brings you to therapy, the challenges you may be facing, and the goals you hope to achieve.

I use strong active listening skills to better understand your experiences, emotional concerns, thought patterns, and current stressors. I also begin exploring how your mental, emotional, and physical well-being may be connected and impacting your daily life. Through a collaborative approach, we will start identifying patterns, strengths, and areas where you would like support and growth.

Clients can also expect me to ask thoughtful questions using techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing to help increase self-awareness, clarify goals, and begin building practical strategies for change. Most importantly, the first session is about establishing trust and creating a foundation for a therapeutic relationship where you feel supported throughout your healing journey.
