Great to meet you!

I am a Doctor of Nursing Practice specializing in trauma, sexual abuse, depression, anxiety and grief. I also provide EMDR therapy which is excellent for recovery of trauma. I provide psychotherapy/counseling and medication management individualized for each patient in a safe and therapeutic environment that promotes healing and thriving.

I treat each patient as an individual and care for them mind, body, and spirit. As a provider, I take time with my patients to treat the root of their concerns.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach is patient centered care and listening to the needs of my patients. A strong therapeutic relationship between the patient and the provider is essential. My approach to patient care is to treat mind, body and spirit and to emphasize self-actualization. I provide both psychotherapy and medication management for my patients and assist them in learning new coping skills that can help improve their lives.

What you can expect from our first session

A patient can expect to take away the following after aq session with me as their provider:

  1. An accurate diagnosis of their condition following evidenced-based guidelines. Diagnosis occurs at time of intake and first session.
  2. Education regarding your current medication and a discussion regarding changing any medications in order to improve your treatment. Being on the right medication (s) is essential.
