Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 18 years of experience, and I work with adults and older adults who may be struggling with depression, anxiety, grief, life transitions, relationship challenges, LGBTQIA+ concerns, end of life care, or the emotional impact of physical health issues. I also work with couples, including those navigating divorce, separation, and changes in their relationships. My goal is to offer a supportive space where you can feel safe, understood, and more grounded as we work through whatever is weighing on you. I believe therapy should feel human, practical, and tailored to your real life, and I value building strong rapport so you feel comfortable being fully yourself in the room.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, client-centered, and nonjudgmental. I want you to have a space where you can talk openly about your concerns and feel met with compassion, openness, and respect. I draw from a range of approaches based on your needs, including CBT, mindfulness-based therapy, strength-based work, humanistic therapy, Gestalt, Emotion Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Integrative Behavioral Couple Therapy. Whether you are looking for support around anxiety, depression, grief, identity, trauma, women’s issues, stress management, or relationship concerns, I focus on helping you feel supported while also moving toward meaningful, realistic change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a welcoming and supportive conversation where you have space to share your story, what has been bringing you to therapy, and what you would like to accomplish. I use that time to get to know you, understand your needs, and make sure our work together feels like a good fit. I see therapy as a partnership, so we will talk about what feels most important to you and what kind of support will be most helpful moving forward. If you feel comfortable and connected after that first conversation, we can begin the work together with a clear sense of direction and shared goals.
