Great to meet you!

I am honored to meet you in the therapeutic space. I feel fortunate to walk alongside your path of recovery and be your witness to growth in our sessions. This will be therapy that meets you where you are — whether that's starting to process your trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, or adjusting to a life that's shifted in ways you didn't expect.

My approach to therapy

As a dual citizen of South Africa and the United States, I take an open-minded and warm approach in the therapeutic space, providing talk therapy and EMDR in a conversational style, from a direct angle and a compassionate lens, as well as a global and culturally-informed perspective.

What you can expect from me

The first session in clinical mental health counseling will require a lot of history-taking and background information collection as well as administration of some mental health assessments. It is a necessary step and important to establish this collection of information to form the basis of the therapeutic alliance for future treatment in therapy sessions.
