I am an LISW with a masters degree in social work. My past experience includes grief counseling, clinical work in an intensive outpatient program that serviced high risk clients, and as a private practice therapist with a focus on sexual and physical trauma, grief and loss, and maternal mental health challenges.
My approach to therapy is to meet the client where she/he/they is/are with a person-centered approach, and to accompany them on their journey of self-discovery through increased self-awareness to develop understanding and self-empowerment.
Clients will experience a sense of collaboration as well as commitment to their treatment that encourages emotional reconnection and expression as a way to change and move forward in their lives.
