Great to meet you!

I work with adults navigating anxiety, stress, grief and loss, relationship challenges, trauma, chronic health concerns, and difficult life transitions. When you're carrying a lot or facing circumstances that are difficult to manage on your own, therapy can provide a space to slow down, better understand what you're experiencing, and find healthier ways to move forward.

With over 14 years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and more than 35 years in life coaching, I bring both clinical experience and a practical, compassionate perspective to our work together. My goal is to provide a supportive space where you feel heard and understood while developing coping skills, strengthening relationships, and creating changes that feel meaningful in your everyday life.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when you feel comfortable being yourself and actively involved in the process. My style is open-minded, supportive, and collaborative. I'll take the time to understand your experiences and what matters most to you rather than assuming there is one approach that works for everyone.

I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Problem-Solving Therapy, and trauma-focused techniques. Depending on your needs, our work may focus on managing anxiety or stress, processing grief or trauma, navigating relationship or family concerns, strengthening coping skills, or adjusting to changes in your health or life. Together, we'll focus on practical strategies that can help you feel more confident and equipped moving forward.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and understand what brings you to therapy. We'll talk about what you've been experiencing, what's been most difficult lately, and what you'd like to be different. You don't need to know exactly what to say or have everything figured out before we begin.

You can expect me to listen without judgment, ask thoughtful questions, and work alongside you to identify goals that feel realistic and meaningful. We'll move at a pace that feels comfortable while building on your strengths and developing tools you can use outside of therapy. My hope is that you leave our work feeling better understood, more capable of navigating life's challenges, and more confident in the direction you're moving.
