Great to meet you!

My interest in psychology began as a client myself and begin able to work through an issue. I was amazed at the transformation power psychotherapy had on my life and wanted the opportunity to help others. This positive experience with counseling led me to pursue and earn a Master's degree in Counseling and Psychology and earn a Doctoral degree in Psychology. My interests trauma, depression, anxiety, and compassion fatigue. I also am a runner and believer in personal self-care.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic style is warm, genuine, and direct. My primary therapeutic modality is EMDR, but I also use Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Client Center Therapy. I believe that most clients already know the answers to the problems they are struggling with and need a safe place to talk about them. I will support you as you put in the necessary work to make those important life changes so you can have the fulfilling life you want.

What you can expect from me

I understand that coming to talk with a stranger about a personal issue can be anxiety provoking, but my approach is to provide each client with a safe place to talk about their issues without being judgmental. My goal is to help each client make sense of their issue and how I can best work with each client. I believe that therapy can help each client unlock their issues and move them closer to finding more fulfillment in their lives.
