I studied Classics and Philosophy at UT Austin where I discovered Carl Jung. This led me to study at the C. G. Jung Institute in Zurich where I earned the Diplomate in Analytical Psychology in 1978. I have been in private practice since.
While I specialize in longer term, in-depth analytical therapy, most of my work is shorter term, eclectic and holistic, though the basic principles of Jung's psychology are at the foundation of everything I do. I like to listen, be engaged, keep a sense of humor and allow the Unconscious to participate.
My clients have described my workspace and atmosphere variously as an oasis, a retreat, or a refuge from the world. My overall aim in practice is to help clients find, as much as possible, an optimal attitude and adaptation to life according to each individual situation.
