Great to meet you!

If you're navigating substance use, struggling with anxiety or depression, or carrying trauma that hasn't had space to breathe, I may be the right fit. With 7+ years of experience as both a Marriage and Family Therapist and Addiction Counselor, I work with adults who want to understand the patterns shaping their lives, not just manage symptoms. I pay attention to what's happening in your relationships alongside what's happening inside you, because the two are rarely separate.

My approach to therapy

Sessions are collaborative and conversational. I use Motivational Interviewing to help you get clear on your own reasons for change, rather than telling you what to do. I draw from Bowenian and Structural Family Therapy to help us understand how your family history and current relationships show up in your life today. Solution-Focused techniques keep us grounded in what's working and what's possible. And when it's useful, I incorporate CBT tools to give you practical skills to use between sessions.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a conversation, not a checklist. I'll ask what brought you to therapy, what your life looks like right now, and what you're hoping to feel or do differently. If you're nervous walking in, that's completely normal. My goal for that first hour is to make sure you leave feeling heard and clear on what we'll focus on together. We'll build a plan from there, at a pace that feels right for you.
