My name is Charles Gerace. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and an OASAS-certified alcohol/substance use counselor. I perform OASAS screenings and assessments for clients in need. I'm board certified in psychotherapy since 2006 and I use my experience to identify and diagnose substance use disorderes as well as mental health issues for those in need.
You'll find my clinical approach to be active, communicative and supportive. We'll build on your strengths through motivational interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as well as physical and emotional techniques used to enhance mindfulness and overall well being.
Sessions will consist of a standard inventory, reviewing and setting of goals and outcomes as well as excercises specifically designed to address obstacles and enhance your therapeutic experience.
