Hi there! My name is Charles Graff, and I'm an LCSW here in New Jersey. Thanks for stopping by my profile here at Headway. Here is a little about me to help you decide if I might be a good fit. I received my MSW from Rutgers University and have been working in the mental health field for almost a decade. My only goal as a therapist is to help you through the difficult time you would like some help with, and to make you feel as comfortable, relaxed and as in control of your future as I can.

I have a solution-focused approach. You are the expert on your own life and your own challenges. I help you to realize the control you have over your own life, and how to get from your current struggles now to a happier and brighter future. To quote my favorite film, "The night is darkest just before the dawn. And I promise you, the dawn is coming".

I am here because I care and I am here to listen and to make you feel heard. I will ask a lot of questions because I want to understand everything that is going on. This is a place where you can fully be yourself without any kind of judgment. I always give a "homework" after each session, whether it is a task to complete throughout the week or practicing a healthy coping mechanism you learned that day. Together, we are going to change how you think and handle challenges, for the better.
