Great to meet you!

I am a compassionate and dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with more than 12 years of healthcare experience in emergency medicine and surgical services. My diverse clinical background has provided me with a strong foundation in caring for individuals with complex medical and mental health needs across a variety of settings.

I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and hold a Master's of Science in Nursing, as well as Bachelor's degrees in Nursing and Health Sciences. My practice is grounded in evidence-based care, and I am committed to helping individuals achieve improved mental health and overall well-being through personalized, patient-centered treatment.

I work with patients across the lifespan and provide treatment for a wide range of mental health conditions. My primary areas of specialization include Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), anxiety disorders, and depression. I believe in taking a holistic approach to care, combining medication management, therapeutic support, and individualized treatment planning to help each patient reach their goals.

My goal is to create a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free environment where patients feel heard, valued, and empowered throughout their mental health journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is centered on meeting clients where they are and recognizing that mental health is a deeply personal journey. I believe that healing involves more than simply prescribing medication—it requires addressing the whole person: mind, body, and soul.

I work collaboratively with clients to understand their unique experiences, goals, strengths, and challenges. Together, we develop an individualized treatment plan that may include medication management, psychotherapy, and, when meaningful to the client, exploration of spirituality as a source of healing and resilience.

My style is compassionate, supportive, and nonjudgmental. I strive to create a safe space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout their care. By combining evidence-based treatments with a holistic perspective, I help clients navigate their own path toward improved mental health, personal growth, and overall well-being.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect their first session with me to be a safe, supportive, and empowering experience where they feel heard, respected, and free from judgment. My goal is to get to know you as a person—not just a patient—so I can better understand your unique experiences, strengths, challenges, and goals.

During our initial session, we will complete a personalized assessment and discuss your concerns, medical and mental health history, and what you hope to achieve through treatment. Together, we will develop an individualized treatment plan tailored to your needs, which may include medication management, psychotherapy, and other approaches that support healing.

By the end of the session, you can expect to have a clearer understanding of your treatment options, a collaborative plan moving forward, and the confidence that you have a partner in your journey toward improved mental health and overall well-being.
