Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed clinical psychologist with extensive experience helping adults navigate life transitions, relationship challenges, stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, and patterns that can leave people feeling stuck.

My approach is practical, direct, and collaborative. I believe therapy should go beyond simply talking about problems. Together, we work to understand the patterns influencing your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and behavior, while developing concrete strategies that can create meaningful change in your everyday life.

My background includes working with individuals from a wide range of life circumstances and with complex psychological concerns. I draw from evidence-based psychological approaches while tailoring treatment to the individual rather than trying to fit every person into the same model.

I’m particularly interested in helping people better understand themselves, strengthen relationships, establish healthier boundaries, improve emotional regulation, and work through difficult experiences from the past that continue to affect the present.

My goal is to provide a space where you can speak openly without judgment while also being challenged when doing so can help you grow. I view therapy as a partnership: we identify where you are, clarify where you want to go, and develop a realistic path for getting there.

If you’re looking for a psychologist who is compassionate but straightforward and focused on meaningful, practical progress, we may be a good fit.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is integrative, insight-oriented, and tailored to each individual. I draw from psychodynamic approaches to help clients understand the deeper patterns, past experiences, and unconscious influences that may be affecting their emotions, relationships, and choices today.I believe insight is most valuable when it leads to meaningful change. We will not only explore why certain patterns developed, but also work on practical ways to respond differently, strengthen relationships, establish healthier boundaries, and develop more effective ways of managing difficult emotions. My style is collaborative, straightforward, and nonjudgmental. I strive to create an environment where clients feel comfortable being honest while also feeling appropriately challenged to examine patterns that may be holding them back. Ultimately, my goal is to help clients develop greater self-understanding, make intentional choices, and build a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin developing a clear understanding of what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask about what you’re currently experiencing, important relationships and life experiences, and what you would like to change or better understand.I want you to feel comfortable speaking openly and at your own pace. There is no expectation that you share everything in the first session. Together, we’ll begin identifying patterns that may be contributing to your current difficulties and establish goals for our work. By the end of the session, my goal is for you to feel heard, have a better sense of how we can work together, and leave with a clearer direction for moving forward.
