Great to meet you!
I have a passion for providing support, intentional care, and goal attainment through effort in a non judgmental approach when providing therapy. I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2015 from the University of Louisville, earned a Bachelor of Social Work degree in 2017, and received a Master of Science in Social Work (MSSW) in 2019 from the Kent School of Social Work at the University of Louisville. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and implement practices of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based therapy used to treat trauma and emotional challenges.
I have nearly 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in the mental health field. I have worked in various settings, providing services in psychiatric emergencies, crisis stabilization/residential care, criminal justice, homelessness/housing, developmental disabilities, private practice, school-based therapy, community-based therapy, and individual/family therapy.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, engaging in sports, hiking, learning new skills, and binge-watching Netflix.
