Great to meet you!

With nearly 38 years of experience in the therapeutic field since 1988, I am a dedicated clinician committed to supporting individuals in their journey toward emotional well-being and recovery. My primary area of expertise is substance use disorder, followed by major depression, anxiety, and anger management. I have worked with diverse populations across a wide range of ages, cultural backgrounds, and life experiences, which has strengthened my ability to connect with clients in meaningful and respectful ways.

My clinical approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), client-centered therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I prioritize reflective listening and strive to meet each client where they are, fostering a collaborative and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment. I believe that meaningful change begins with understanding, empathy, and a strong therapeutic alliance.

My approach to therapy

CBT, client-centered therapy, and motivational interviewing.

What you can expect from me

In your first session with me, you can expect a warm, respectful, and non-judgmental space where your voice and experiences are genuinely valued. I will focus on getting to know you, your concerns, and what brought you to seek support, while also explaining how therapy works and what you can expect going forward. Rather than pressure or criticism, my tone is collaborative and supportive, allowing you to move at your own pace. Many clients leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful, with a clearer sense of direction and reassurance that they are not facing their challenges alone.
