Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor with over 35 years of experience in counseling. I am a warm, affirming, and solution-oriented counselor who believes that while everyone experiences challenges, with the right guidance and support, growth and positive change are always possible. I integrate a variety of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, behavioral interventions, and play-based techniques when working with children. I also collaborate closely with caregivers, educators, and support systems to promote consistency and long-term success across environments. I am here to help you face difficulties with confidence, discover strengths, and find meaningful solutions.

My approach to therapy

My work is grounded in a strengths-based, collaborative therapeutic approach that emphasizes practical solutions, emotional growth, and resilience.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a time to get to know one another and to help you feel comfortable in a safe, welcoming space. We will talk about what brought you in, any concerns you may have, and what you hope to gain from counseling. There is no pressure to share more than you are ready for—this session moves at your pace.

I will ask questions to better understand current challenges, relevant history, and areas of strength. Together, we will begin to identify goals and discuss how counseling can be most helpful. My approach is warm, affirming, and solution-oriented, focusing on building trust, hope, and practical steps forward.

By the end of the first session, you can expect to have a clearer understanding of the counseling process, feel supported and heard, and have an initial plan for moving forward together.
