Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor who has been in the field for over 17 years. My education includes a Masters Degree in Counseling and Guidance as well as continuing education in Internal Family Systems, Motivational Interviewing, Addiction Counseling. My experience has included many years of working with co-occurring disorders, including depression, anxiety, parenting issues, grief and trauma. I take a person-centered approach to meet each individual where they are at, determining the best approach for you.

My approach to therapy

I focus on you as the individual, meeting you where you are at. My approach is the blend past experiences with what your current concerns and goals are, helping you to navigate through your emotional needs. I specialize in grief work, including those who have experienced suicide loss. I also focus on addiction treatment and co-occurring disorders, such as depression, anxiety and PTSD.

What you can expect from me

In an initial session, I take a bio-psycho-social approach to learn about what is bringing you to support your mental health. We will explore past and present concerns and set attainable goals for your future. Each session we will check in around where you are at with your goals, exploring barriers and celebrating successes along the way.
