Charlette Verkamp

Finding the right psychiatric provider should feel personal—not rushed or one-size-fits-all. Charlette is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who provides thoughtful, individualized psychiatric care for children ages 5+, adolescents, and adults.

She specializes in medication management for ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar and mood disorders, trauma, and PTSD. With experience across emergency psychiatry, community mental health, outpatient care, and telehealth, Charlette brings both clinical expertise and a calm, collaborative approach to treatment.

Charlette takes a warm, collaborative, and patient-centered approach to psychiatric care. She listens closely, considers the full picture, and works with each patient to create a treatment plan that feels clear, individualized, and realistic.

Her priority is simple: helping patients feel heard, understood, and confident in their care.

During the first session, Charlette takes time to understand what has been going on, what has or hasn’t worked before, and what the patient hopes to improve. She creates a calm, nonjudgmental environment where patients can ask questions and feel comfortable being honest.

By the end of the visit, patients can expect a clearer understanding of their symptoms, treatment options, and next steps, with a plan developed together.
