Great to meet you!

I prioritize unconditional positive regard, empathy, respect for diverse worldviews and identities, and building a strong therapeutic alliance. I understand the apprehension of starting with a new counselor. Before starting, you may be struggling with understanding why you find yourself in repeating patterns of thinking, feeling and living. Why things have happened, or why they haven't happened yet. Together we will take our time in helping you get unstuck and decide where to go next.

My approach to therapy

I favor a client-centered approach rooted in motivational interviewing, mindfulness, solutions-focused and ACT. But past all that, I listen.

What you can expect from me

A sense of being heard, understood and that we've had a conversation which starts the process of finding a new way of being yourself in the world.
