Great to meet you!

Hello, I’m Charloth V. Bledsoe, DNP, PMHNP-BC, a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care. I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Nevada, Reno, and have experience providing psychiatric care to children, adolescents, adults, and older adults.

My practice focuses on comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, psychotherapy, and treatment for conditions including anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders, and substance use disorders. I also have experience providing Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) and caring for individuals with complex mental health needs.

I believe mental health care should be individualized, collaborative, and free of judgment. My goal is to create a safe environment where clients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their treatment. I work with each person to develop a treatment plan that fits their unique needs, goals, and circumstances.

Whether you are seeking support for a new concern or looking for ongoing psychiatric care, I am committed to helping you work toward greater stability, wellness, and quality of life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to mental health care is compassionate, collaborative, and individualized. I believe every person’s experiences, strengths, and goals are unique, so I take the time to listen and understand the whole person rather than focusing only on symptoms or a diagnosis.

I work collaboratively with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that may include medication management, psychotherapy, lifestyle strategies, and education about mental health. I encourage clients to be active participants in their care and strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where they feel comfortable discussing their concerns.

What you can expect from me

I strive to create a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable being open and honest about their experiences. My goal is to build a trusting therapeutic relationship based on respect, compassion, and collaboration.

Together, we identify realistic treatment goals based on each client’s individual needs and priorities. These may include improving mood and anxiety, increasing emotional stability, improving sleep and concentration, strengthening coping skills, managing symptoms more effectively, improving relationships and daily functioning, and supporting recovery from substance use.

I believe meaningful progress happens when clients feel heard and actively involved in their care. I regularly assess progress, discuss treatment options, and adjust the treatment plan as needed. Ultimately, my goal is to help each client develop the skills, stability, and confidence needed to improve their overall well-being and quality of life.
