Great to meet you!

I have been in the mental health field for more then fifteen years. I completed my undergrad and graduate studies and Montana State University in Billings. I started my counseling career in Southwest Wyoming. I am currently in Northeastern Montana. I work with adults online, I appreciate the comfort that can come for clients through telehealth sessions. I have extensive knowledge in working with depression, anxiety and ADHD.

My approach to therapy

I see mental health therapy as a collaboration, meeting them where they are at while supporting them to get to the place they would like to go. I find that normalizing thoughts and feelings is a helpful approach, along with teaching coping skills. I draw a lot from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy as well as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a chance to ask questions, get to know each to other better and understand the therapy process. A clinical assessment (questions about previous mental health history, medical history, family, relationships, substance abuse, education, work and legal history) will be completed, and establish beginning treatment goals.
