Great to meet you!

Hello and Welcome to the Brand-New You!

As a South Carolina Board-Certified Licensed Independent Social Worker in Clinical Practice (LISW-CP), I want to commend you for taking the first step toward your healing journey. Seeking professional support can feel overwhelming—especially when trying to find someone with whom you can build trust and feel safe. I’m proud of you for showing up today and investing in yourself. I’ve been practicing for 15 years and have had the honor of working with a wide range of individuals and families—including children, adolescents, young adults, older adults, military personnel, and at-risk populations. My mission is to help each person I work with become the best version of themselves through compassion, collaboration, and personalized care.

My approach to therapy

I firmly believe that therapy should not follow a “one size fits all” model. Each person is a unique individual, bringing their own strengths, challenges, and perspective into the world. My approach emphasizes building on your personal strengths and empowering you with tools and skills to overcome life’s barriers and crises. Together, we will work to improve your ability to function confidently and successfully across various environments—whether at home, school, work, or in your relationships.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a warm welcome, an open heart, and a safe space where your thoughts, emotions, and personal story will be met with acceptance and respect. This session will serve as the foundation for building a trusting therapeutic relationship. We will explore what brought you to therapy, begin identifying your needs, and create a collaborative treatment plan tailored to your goals. This plan will include an appropriate diagnosis (if applicable), targeted goals, practical interventions, and measurable objectives to help guide your progress. This becomes our written roadmap to the changes you want to see in your life.
