Great to meet you!

I am proud to be a clinical social worker because the field of social work is rooted in values including service, social justice, and dignity of the human person.

Many mental health concerns are a result of unhelpful patterns of thinking and behavior that become a barrier to well-being. My job is to work with you on getting unstuck by changing these patterns.

Please note that I am also licensed in Alaska and can offer virtual appointments for Alaska residents.

My approach to therapy

Therapy is about becoming better versions of ourselves. The role of the therapist is to both support and challenge clients. I try to balance this well to help you achieve the goals you set for yourself.

What you can expect from me

New information that will help establish new perspectives and therefore new behaviors. The goal is eventually ending weekly sessions, so I will touch base with you on this if I feel like we have lost direction. There's no rush in completing your work, but it's important to me to stay goal oriented to best serve you.
