Great to meet you!

You have probably spent more time holding everyone else together than paying attention to how you are actually doing. I work with children, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, family stress, life transitions, and the quiet weight that comes with parenting and relationships. As a former school counselor, I understand what adolescents actually need from support, and as a mom myself, I know the pressure of trying to show up for everyone while your own needs stay on the back burner. I also work with people in the LGBTQIA+ community and those facing maternal mental health challenges, and my practice is a space where you can be fully yourself from day one.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative and practical. We are not just talking through what is hard. We are figuring out what actually helps and building something that fits your real life. Whether you are managing anxiety, working through family dynamics, or trying to reconnect with yourself after a long stretch of caretaking, we will find a pace that feels right and adjust as we go. My background with adolescents and families means I understand that people come to therapy differently, and I will meet you where you are rather than where I expect you to be. If you want a warm, grounded space where there is room to think out loud without pressure to have it all figured out, this might be a good fit.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you do not need to arrive with a prepared speech or a clear sense of what to say. We will talk through what is bringing you in, some of your history, and what you are hoping for. By the end you will have a clearer sense of where we are headed and what our next steps look like. The goal is simply that you leave feeling heard and a little less alone in it. If that sounds like what you have been looking for, I would love to connect.
