Great to meet you!

Most people I work with aren’t new to trying, they’re just tired of feeling stuck. Maybe you’ve been managing things on your own for a while, or you’ve tried to make changes but keep finding yourself in the same place. Whether it’s substance use, stress, or just feeling off, something isn’t working the way you want it to.

I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in Kentucky, and I work with individuals who are ready for things to feel different, even if they’re not sure what that looks like yet. With experience in both mental health and substance use treatment, I bring a practical, no-judgment approach that focuses on real change, not just talking things through.

My approach to therapy

My approach is straightforward, supportive, and focused on what actually helps. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) along with a person-centered style, which means we’ll look at how your thoughts, habits, and patterns are impacting your day-to-day life and what can realistically shift.

I’m not here to overanalyze or label you. I’m here to help you understand what’s going on, figure out what’s getting in the way, and build tools you can actually use outside of session. We move at your pace, but we also stay focused on progress.

What you can expect from me

The first session is simple, we figure out what’s going on and what you want to be different. You don’t need to have a perfect explanation or know exactly what to say. I’ll ask questions to get a clear picture, but it won’t feel like an interrogation.

Most people leave that first session feeling a bit more clear and less overwhelmed. From there, we’ll map out next steps that feel doable and relevant to your life. The goal is for therapy to feel useful from the start, not like something you’re just showing up for.
