Great to meet you!

I am excited that you have taken your first step to receiving support. I graduated from Troy University with a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology and have 15 years total of experience working with individuals and families. Nine of those years have been spent working in private practice. I also have worked in community mental health, Auburn University's Student Counseling & Psychological Services, and as a Program Coordinator for the Child & Adolescent Day Treatment in Scottsboro, Alabama.

My approach to therapy

I feel it's a great honor and privilege to work with individuals in their mental health journey. My style has been described as compassionate, kind, and supportive. As a therapist, it's essential to create a safe and non-judgmental environment where clients can work towards their goals. I identify myself as a behavioral therapist but also use various modalities, including skills development training and conflict resolution, to assist clients in achieving their individual goals.

What you can expect from me

It is my goal to help clients improve their interpersonal relationships, self-care practices, and ability to cope with and manage the stressors of life in a healthy and productive manner. By fostering these skills, clients can learn a greater sense of emotional well-being.
