Great to meet you!

You already know something needs to change.

Maybe you keep telling yourself, “I’ll stop tomorrow,” “I’ll get serious next week,” or “I can handle this on my own.” But then the same patterns repeat: substance use, compulsive choices, impulsive decisions, broken promises, lost motivation, shame, and frustration.

If that sounds familiar, you are not broken. You are stuck in a cycle, and cycles can be interrupted.

I understand how difficult it can be to feel stuck in the same patterns and wonder whether real change is still possible. My work is grounded in both professional training and lived experience. I have been in long-term recovery for 18 years, which gives me a deep respect for the honesty, courage, and consistency it takes to ask for help and begin making different choices.

I hold a Doctorate of Behavioral Management and am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Master’s Certified Addictions Professional, and IC&RC Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I have extensive experience working with adults struggling with substance use, alcohol use, drug use, compulsive behaviors, impulsive decision-making, relapse patterns, and difficulty maintaining motivation.

My approach is structured, practical, and evidence-based. I focus on helping clients build insight, strengthen accountability, improve coping skills, reduce relapse risk, and develop realistic plans for long-term behavior change.

I work with adults dealing with addiction, recovery, sexual addiction, pornography addiction, compulsive behaviors, relationship difficulties, emotional regulation concerns, and patterns of thinking or behavior that interfere with relationships, work, stability, and personal goals. I work well with clients who benefit from clear structure, direct feedback, and a counseling style that balances support with personal responsibility.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in comprehensive assessments for substance abuse, sexual addiction, and anger management, ensuring that each client receives a personalized and effective treatment plan. My approach is goal-oriented, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Reality Therapy, which have proven highly effective in promoting lasting change.

My mission is to empower clients by fostering self-awareness, life skills, and goal achievement—helping you break free from the cycle of addiction and impulsive behaviors. I believe in shifting from a victim mindset to a proactive, solution-focused approach. Change is possible, and together, we can make it happen.

What you can expect from me

True empowerment arises from the confrontation with the self. Only through self-awareness can one transcend the unconscious patterns that bind them to addiction. To remain a victim is to surrender one's agency to the shadow; to awaken is to reclaim the power of choice.

Our work is not merely the cessation of destructive habits but the integration of the fractured self. We cultivate awareness, empathy, self-esteem, physical vitality, and mental resilience, for these are the pillars upon which individuation stands. Personal responsibility is not a burden but the bridge to transformation, and implementation is the act by which we forge our destiny. In this way, we do not merely seek recovery—we seek wholeness.
