Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Charnell Brooks, a Licensed Professional Counselor dedicated to helping women, families, and individuals heal, grow, and thrive. With years of experience in both clinical and virtual settings, I specialize in emotional intelligence, self-worth, anxiety, trauma, and relationship healing.

I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling from Louisiana Tech University in 2012 — an academic journey that deepened my passion for mental health and equipped me with the tools to support others through life’s toughest seasons.

As a mother of three and a woman who has navigated my own personal and professional challenges, I bring not only clinical expertise but also real-life insight to every session.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, direct, and tailored to meet each client where they are. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or ready to break generational cycles, I offer a safe, non-judgmental space to explore your truth and take empowered steps forward.

Together, we’ll do more than talk — we’ll work toward transformation.

What you can expect from our first session

In our sessions, you can expect more than just a listening ear — you’ll receive real tools, honest feedback, and empowering guidance to help you make lasting change. My goal is for every client to walk away feeling heard, seen, and equipped.

You’ll gain:

  • Clarity about your emotions, patterns, and goals
  • Coping skills to manage anxiety, stress, and overwhelm
  • Healthier boundaries in your relationships and within yourself
  • Emotional intelligence that helps you respond, not react
  • Confidence in your identity, decisions, and voice
  • Healing from past wounds so you can live more fully in the present

Whether you’re here for personal growth, relationship support, or healing past trauma, our work together will be collaborative, compassionate, and customized just for you.
