Great to meet you!

Therapy can be a place to finally put down some of the weight you’ve been carrying. I work with adults navigating trauma, PTSD, substance use, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, and difficult life transitions. Many of the people I work with are used to being strong for everyone else, yet privately feel exhausted, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward.

With more than 12 years of experience, I bring a warm, compassionate, and solution-oriented approach to therapy. I’ll give you space to be honest and vulnerable without judgment while also helping you understand patterns, build practical coping skills, and make changes that feel meaningful in your everyday life.

You don’t have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. We’ll meet you where you are and work toward helping you feel more grounded, confident, and connected to yourself and the life you want.

My approach to therapy

I believe effective therapy should feel both supportive and purposeful. Your experiences are unique, so I tailor treatment to your needs, goals, and readiness rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach.

Together, we’ll explore the experiences and patterns that may be keeping you stuck, process difficult emotions, strengthen coping skills, and identify practical steps toward meaningful change. My style is compassionate but direct, and I’ll support you while also challenging you when it can help you grow.

Depending on your goals, I may incorporate CBT, Trauma-Focused CBT, EMDR, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Seeking Safety, REBT, strengths-based therapy, and behavioral interventions.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to slow down, get to know each other, and talk about what brought you to therapy. You don’t need to have the perfect words or be ready to share everything right away.

We’ll discuss what has been weighing on you, what you’d like to change, and what you hope to get from therapy. I’ll answer your questions and begin working with you to create a treatment plan that feels realistic and aligned with your goals.

My hope is that you leave feeling heard, respected, and confident that you have someone in your corner as you begin this process.
