Great to meet you!

Life can be hard. That is certainly true for everyone. However, you do not have to map the journey by yourself. Working with a therapist can give you another point of view from a professional who meets you where you are, to help you get to the place you want to be. Working with a therapist can help to see your obstacles and identify resources and strengths to meet your goals.

I am a licensed professional therapist working in the state of Georgia. Most of my work is offered online. My educational background includes degrees in business, community counseling, community psychology and professional leadership. As a life long learner, I continue to seek knowledge.

My work history is long and varied. I have worked with non-profit organizations, residential and outpatient mental health facilities, state level mental health services and am currently working in private practice. Importantly, I truly enjoy helping people through therapy.

As your therapist I can help you identify and prioritize your goals and explore options in a supportive and gently challenging manner. Many of my clients are seeking balance in their lives; whether that is through improving mood, examining family and parenting skills, navigating relationship issues, or addressing past or current chaos and trauma.

I also practice what I teach. That includes keeping a sense of humor, doing volunteer work, balancing my own family issues, having a rich inner life, embracing new experiences, a love of nature, and creativity as an artist.

Choosing the right therapist is so important and personal. I want you to succeed and that means seeing if we are a good match. I offer a 15 minute free consultation for us to explore that fit.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is to meet clients where they are, to value their lived experiences and to help them create achievable goals.
